Periodical Information

Studies in the Novel has been published quarterly past the Department of English at the Academy of North Texas since 1969. Its aim is to nowadays excellence in criticism of the novel in all periods, by established and emerging novelists worldwide, from all interpretive approaches. Each outcome contains 5 to half-dozen articles, an occasional review-essay, and viii to ten book reviews. Articles may be submitted at any time and, following initial decision by the editor, are evaluated by noted scholars in the appropriate field from Studies in the Novel's advisory board and the broader academic community. Reviews and review-essays are deputed by the book review editors, but suggestions for these are welcome. The periodical publishes a special issue roughly once a yr, devoted to a single topic, comprised of deputed essays, and edited by a guest editor.
